Inside the villa
Meet the founder

I’m Temi, a Nigerian-British foodie enthusiast. Growing up, I experienced community, laughter, and warmth through Nigerian food. From unwrapping Knorr cubes to sneaking tastes of freshly fried plantain, to announcing that the food was ready and sharing it with everyone—each moment was filled with joy. This isn’t just a distant memory; I still find joy in sharing Nigerian food with others and Setovilla is my way of bringing that joy to you.

Our Mission
Setovilla launched in November 2021 - inspired by a note in a mini album. We are a group of volunteers united by a shared goal to create a playground for success. We are passionate about sharing the authentic flavors of West Africa through ọ̀kọ̀, but our mission goes beyond that.
We are committed to making a lasting impact. Our goal is to create a future where children and young people have access to the tools and opportunities they need to define success on their own terms. We proudly support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Our playground is for everyone who wants to help build a brighter future—one where children can dream without limits and succeed, no matter their background.

Omena Takpi once wrote in a mini album, “When I grow up and become rich, I will make a playground in my house and call it Setovilla.”
